NAAMIS FOUNDATION was born out of lived experience, resilience, and a deep belief in the transformative power of education, compassion, and community support.
Our journey began in circumstances marked by hardship. Growing up, we faced poverty, limited access to basic needs, and education in poorly resourced schools. These conditions could easily have destroyed hope, but instead they shaped in us a lasting conviction: every child, regardless of background, deserves a fair opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
At just 12 years old, Aloro Joseph, a Primary Five pupil at Lokiri Islamic Primary School, became the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the Koboko District Primary School Ball Games. As a beneficiary of NAAMIS Foundation's Empowering Talent Through Education and Opportunity Programme, his achievement earned him the opportunity to represent Koboko District at the National Primary School Ball Games in Mubende.
